Simone originates from a Registered Nursing background but soon filtered into the fitness industry in 1995, whereby she began her teaching career as a group fitness instructor and continues to work in this field today as her fulltime passion.
Simone has an extensive background in all things fitness, movement to music, dancing (commenced at 4 years of age), Yoga, Pilates, BootyBarre, Zumba/Dance Fit classes, Yoga Tune Balls, Roll n Release Classes, Chair Yoga, BodyBalance and many other class concepts throughout the 23 years of teaching.
Yoga is currently Simone’s main passion and focus. She had the fantastic opportunity to conduct her 200hr YTT training through Rishikul Yogshala in Hoi An Vietnam (for an entire month) via Nomad Yoga. It was here she met her Indian Guru Rahul Chamouli, a fantastic Yoga teacher from Rishikul Yogshala that guided her through the most amazing experience of Hatha Vinyasa & Ashtanga Yoga foundations. Something she will always cherish dearly.
After enduring many life challenges, hurdles, obstacles and influences that ‘life’ likes to deliver whilst travelling this earth & facing everyday situations, Yoga has been her saving grace. When it comes to overcoming stress, anxiety, work issues, family commitments, overwhelming times and many other factors that current busy society deals…Yoga, both for the mind and body has enabled ‘balance & clarity’ to
resurface and provide a grounding, ‘feel-good’ environment.
Simone’s teaching style is nurturing, guiding, educational and often subtly humorous. She has an innate ability to learn people’s names from the get-go and has a wonderful way in guiding people into their yoga asanas to achieve depth & clarity through her descriptive teaching style. Her Yoga Nidra is very unique and
enjoyable. Highly recommended.
